Peugeot FLOW
Hi guys, My first animation ever, just to get used to the controls and some editing, the model is my entry for the Peugeot Concept of this year,
Its pretty short and there are lots of bad sampling and flickerings because I was unable to set a high sampling AA with only one computer rendering. I wanted to render the white reflective ground together but found out it tripled the render times, so I just set it to "invisible to camera" so that the reflection at least could be caught by the model. I want to make a bigger and better version of it but i just need some tips and critics from you guys, would be appreciated http://www.sendspace.com/file/4dunve |

well...it's not cool we don't see the car clearly
btw... if i were you i won't spend so much time on this film since it's not the way your project will be judged...try to make presentation picture, with sketchs, concept research etc...and work on still render.

Well those still images are ready, just waiting for 4 December, this animation is not meant to be submitted as a contest entry, just to practice some animation for personal skill.
Thanks for commenting, btw here goes one of the entry shots, |

ow really? i thought it looked cool, Im not sure if I should change them though because DOF is made with software not with Vray itself.
I would appreciate some more opinions Thanks |

IMO get rid of Honeycomb grille... its too common.
P.S. DOF isn't good... DOF is based on amount of distance from focial point, the amount of distance the more blur it gets i.e. backgound. So its no use with DOF. |

hmm, get also rid of the crome grille and place some more serious grill in it - looks like kind of cheap tuning
rest is quite nice, its very detailed although! but the grille kills it all keep it going! best regards Tee

take a look at the concepts of peugeot itself ...and create a grill in their style? ...only one thought
...about the blindness ...i think that this is the biggest problem of all designers and all of us creative people, that you sometimes are that stuck in your issue, you cannot have an objective point of view any more - thats, what CG Cars is for! keep it going! Tee
