Advices please!

Hi guys, I have been quite busy lately, and I just got a new printer with a scanner, so I actually had the chance to scan my sketches at home, rather than in the school library. Here is my new sketch I actually wanted to let it have that 'defensive' kind of look, by making the headlights part of the front grille, but it looks kind of wierd..

Look, I can't tell you specifically what areas you have to improve, all I can telll you is, Practice, just practice. After you make a sketch wait an hour at least, and then, go and watch it again and then you will realize where you get wrong. Also, seeing a lot of car pic's will help you to improve your perspectives (watch the wheels and windows).
That's all I can say, I'm just an enthusiastic Designer, so another one can help you much better than me.

cheers

Not bad for a 14 year old, but don't let that make you slack, keep practicing and remember to have fun with it as well

doing a great job mate, as someone else just watch your perspective, and leran how to draw circles in perspective, cant stress that enough (which are called eclipses, which you seem to be doing pretty well). also there are angles which are easier to draw and can look really cool, i.e front quarter with huge perspective on it. also the easiet angles to draw are ones you actually see, try not to get too high when drawing, cause how often are you looking down on a car?

ive just gone over one of your drawings showing where your center line should of been, learn to draw a centre line for your car as it really helps in keep it all together. plus ive a really quick sketch of of a more common angle to draw cars from, notice how the centre line is all the way over so you dont have to draw both sides of the car! anyway do whatever your comfortable with and keep up the good work, wish i had drawn more cars at school cause now ive had to bust my ass off at uni learning

*edit* drawing a little dodgy sry, havent used my wacom in weeks, much prefer sketching on paper

Thanks mate! I have seen the picture you attached and the center line does help a lot in the perspective. I will try it one day!
