sorry its been so long between updates, we have been crazy busy. just a small update. This was just a quick reflection test, most likely, this is a cropped version of the final backplate. I know its way to reflective, Just wanted to see how the reflections are working with the backplate, also we are not going to go with black, but its just a color that shows off reflections. Thanks!

Nice model and texturing! But try to add some dirt. Behind the wheels or something!? Splatter dirt from mud.

    Something like this:

Great work and awesome lighting, I have to agree about the dirt though, it's the only thing that makes it a bit CG at the moment. The materials looks great though, the wheels in particular. I'm very impressed!
You won't get much closer to magic than pressing the render button.

Awesome modelling and rendering, but on the last render/picture there are missing some dirts to make it more real.

    I know Dirt....

It would be cool if I could add dirt but....this is for an actual job now, the client does not want any dirt. And for what its worth, the real stand in vehicle we used on this backplate was an fjcruiser, and it also had no dirt in this position. Unfortunatly, most auto makers do not like making their cars look dirty, even an FJ, at least not all the time. We need to make this Fj40 look new, or at least close to it, so we need to modify the model a bit and change the wheels/tires. But don't worry I have a few tricks up my sleave, I won't make it perfectly clean!!! This isn't close to what the final will look like. We are also still planning on finishing one of the images I posted on here earlier for our own fun, and on that image we will make it look rusty/dirty. Talk to you later
    BrAcKeT

BTW you are dead on on the bumper/roof materials, I am still working on those as we speak, Thanks for all of your comments!!
