Thanks.
Some updates, pretty easy way to model this is (smaller details after smooth modifier applied)
I know the line leaping over the door is too big, will fix that.
C & C are welcome.

Hey man not sure if I am correct but is the chamfer down the side of the car too sharp? Also is the chamfer on the wheel arch too soft?
And finally are you going to map those vents, you got some pretty major stretching.

Yeah I will try to map em. Wont be easy tho.
I dont think the chamfer itself are too sharp, but the whole line down the side is too big. It shouldn't point out that much. Will have to fix that too.
Wich me luck

I got tired of all those polies and decided to give Rhinoceros and nurbs modeling a try, as it was released for Mac not too long ago. I'm learning as I go, but I need some help with these areas. How do I merge these surfaces, when they are not sharing the edges?
Rhino expert, please help me

To be honest with you.... I don't mean to be negative, but...I think you should stick with polymodeling instead because you are about to make it worst for yourself. I can clearly see you don't have much experience in NURB modeling. So to avoid stress..just stick with polymodeling until end, and learn NURB later....because NURB will be HARD for lack of experience like you against complicated type of surface on Vantage.
Or you can put your Vantage project on hold.. and learn NURB until you re really ready.
Good luck

Agreed with EquiNOX... it's already starting to turn out with polys-- not sure why you switched to NURBS.

Ty for your opinion. I've modeled quite a few poly cars, but I think poly modeling a little bit takes the fun away from making cars. I want to create shapes instead of fighting all these topology issues that is so hard to get rid off. I'm not getting stressed, I have got all time in the world as it is just a hobby.
I'm making easier models parallel with this one to learn
Ty Duron, quess you're talking about the poly one

The tires are all modeled with displacement map, as YafaRay can't for some reason render bump maps because of a bug. It looks all right IMO. Also, I started trying out some materials for it. C&C are welcome

I decided to do as Equinox said, and try to finish this baby off in polies, while I learn Rhino better. Some progress on the front.

That looks good!
Polys are fun but as you say, issues are sometimes harder to handle
