1982 corvette
ok.. this project actually started out when i wanted to put more detail in my previous project.. i will still try complete the mustang, but i'm having too much fun working on this one...
i've never done anything like this.. but personally i'm pretty happy with how it looks so far.. i'll post most images here again from where i stared off.. i know the parts are not 100% acurate.. but i'm doing my best to get as close as i can (with my low skill lvl and the time i find ) there has been some comments about parts being too small.. but i that's mostly because of the perspective view.. enjoy.. |

looks almost same as the frame for your mustang agree that the wheels looks really small, maybe the frame is too wide, don't know

it's easier to judge wheel dimensions from the side view. there are often perspective issues. otherwise, there really isn't anything new in this thread to comment on.

rodder is right.. the perspective view makes some parts look smaller than they actually are.. i put the blueprints next to it and proportions are all correct for tires, frame,..
it is the same frame i started with in the mustang thread.. cause it's always been a C4 shark corvette frame.. the parts i added since last one i showed is the rear suspension.. i'm stil working on that and than i'll pro'lly do the gastank and work my way to the front for the engine.. |

Chassis
Well not sure that I would have even gone to all the trouble of doing a chassis, so as for that I am already impressed.
Good luck, i'll keep my eye on it. as for the parts size, i am sure once the body is on everything will look right

thanx for the comment SvdM.
here's a small view to show that main parts are now well in proportion.. tires were indeed a little bit too small, but not much.. thanx for that pointer guys.. don't mind the blueprint too much.. i know it's not alligned 100% it's just to show the frame size and tire size.. because of perspective view, it seems shorter and wider than it actually is.. |

because lack of time on the detailing i had a small amount of time to start on the body.. this is only about 20 minutes of time in, so still lot's of tweaking will be done..
