BMW help
heres my first actual attempt to make anything in 3ds max. Its supposed to be the front end of a BMW z4. This is an editable mesh and i heard alot about nurbs reading around different websites. What are nurbs and would it be better to use it while making a car? My main problem would be connecting two objects that i make in order to get a better shape. How can i connect to objects?

hi, if you need help post some better picture, and unsmoothed wire. For NURBS modelling you need some nurbs aplication like Rhnio or AST. Max can work iwth Nurbs too, but not good. Or you need some nurbs plugin like PowerNURBS for max.

Then look for the button "Attach". Practise/experience is what you need to build up. Have a look at the help files. Dave

ive been looking around the pro sections and i guess it would be better to start out with parts of the car instead of the whole thing at once. Ill post up my progress soon on my supra=] |
