Try to remove triangles near door handle, on the fender and rear door.

thx for the coments...
instict-vfx - very thx for pointing that incuracies i will see that right now... now im doing the front view... but will see that incuracies first and try to repair it..... and its good that some-one knows very well the car because only one person cant see all the incurasies. big thanx. i will try to post some updates soon. |

good to see your account is finally working. while the car looks generally smooth i think you should probably just run the edges straight up above the handles instead of compressing them into tris.

seemas like a very smooth model...blast...i could've got highres referances from the autoshow but i i didn't have a good camera (my dad took it) and since ur thread is quite new to me that is...i didn't remeber to take pics of important parts. otherwise the car looks awesome (but damn big compared to the x3...and bigger than the x5) i've kept my eye on this thread...

Hey there,
nice progress, beware: there are quite a lot of very tense lines in the newer bmw's. For example the part under the light is a lot more curved. as well the part behind the license plate. Also on the hood the 4 "edges" are pretty damn sharp (the look too rounded from the screens) and the sunken part between the 2 on one side is less regularly curved. The curvature gets a lot more tension towards the middle of the hood. Again looking forward to some updates. Not going into ueber-detail as the front seems to be a heavy work in progress Kind Regards, Thorsten |
