can't point the finger , but it doesn't look like rubber. it looks like burned rough clay.

petter are you talking about the chrome mat of the headlights, the door handles or the rims? because i checked with refs, and they are all "good" btw rims are not supposed to be chrome.

the tire material are indeed very bad, it's standart max material, need to tweak them.

o btw i've just switched on max 2008, the render are pretty good with the photographic exposure control :

i was talking about tthe tyres chrome, but i wasn't so shure, just as you said that it's not supposed to be chrome. anyway it looks bad.
also check the side blinkers.add a better matelrial to it.
the door handle chrome looks very good and the headlight chrome it's too bright and it reflects everything that it can be reflected, i don't know but it's like a very brigh spot in the image just as the front bumper specular.

i don't know wich it's your main lighting object. i think the light behind the camera wich it's very strong and the light distribution isn't very uniform. it strong lights the car in the front bumper area too muck and very low in the rest.

also check the area around the nissan badge. it's bumpy.
the side it's wavy, tweak it and the A-pillar doesn't look ok.
