after struggling with errors and 2 days of tryouts with 4 OS i managed to install at least xp 64 bit,[cuz it seems some problem with my graphics card is in conflict with the default driver from vista x64 - and any vista ive tried, and prevents it from even reaching the desktop-monitor goes standby]..
..i finally rendered not only one car but two -9 milion polies takes just about 3 gb of ram so i have plenty of room.
-the render with one car has normal settings [medium FG preset and high antialiasing] an took 40 mins to make;
-the one with two cars has high Fg preset and very high AA[min 16, max 64] + bigger resolution = 7 hours rendertime
its far from finished and still some things to tweak ,model and sure improve the render,but hope you like it

looks very great but i'd still want to see a studio render of it.

I like it, but IMO you should continue on modellig too, because the car will looks much better on the renders when it will be done

are your skirts simple paint or carbon material?

ok guys ,thanks but dont rush me rendering along is part of the process,it helps find mistakes .etc, plus i was bored of modelling .

oh ,the skirts [if you refer to the front lip] its plastic -as it should be
