Thanks for comments and crits.

Here's another mugshot

Reduced the spotlight effect on the back, added a glossy layer to the paint but there's too few samples on it, a bit noisy.. and overall quality needs more work too..

@ et_fone_home: There's not much to do with the headlights materials. They're almost completely dependent of the reflecting environment..

About outdoor renders, yes i'm planning to do them later but first some studio shots to get the materials tweaked out.

looks great now. the only issue is that the mesh at the bottom of the bumper is getting lost somehow.

regards,
rodder

I'm Amazed !!

BTW, I got a question : How do you export models from rhino to max ?
Everytime I tried, I get a shitty result with planes disapearing and growing everywhere but at their own place....
I tried from Rhino to max, from Catia to max, into STP and IGES....and it was unusable.
I tried from Catia to Maya, and from Rhino to maya...and it was almost perfect...except I never used maya, it's boring.

Do you use IGES ? STP ?
Do you export As a whole model ?
By little parts one by one ?

thx

Thx guys!

RCcarreau, sorry didn't mean to ignore your question but i've answered it so many times already in my threads that i use Npower translators for exporting. Simply the best solution. It's like opening rhino files in max. And i export part by part ofcourse...

@ exidge: likewise

@ rodder: that's because the light comes from higher above than on the previous render..

I'm gonna render a bigger, better quality image tonight..

I rely like this render, but symmetrical reflections looks odd
